Depending on what your unique situation involves, you can choose which therapeutic delivery is best for you. This might mean coming to the office for an in person session (following current COVID guidelines), or taking part in an online counselling session.
However, if you are in crisis right now…
If you are having suicidal thoughts, you may need help immediately. If you are experiencing intense emotional distress and need immediate response:
1. Call your local crisis line 1-800-232-7288 or 780-482-HELP (4357)
2. Call a mental health clinic and make an appointment for an office visit
3. OR –> Go to Emergency at your local hospital.

If you would like an online appointment – go to the CONTACT ME on the menu bar and fill out the form: please provide your name, your e-mail, and a brief explanation about the issue you would like help with (ie; stress, depression, anxiety etc.). I will respond to you asap, and let you know my availability.
What is Virtual Therapy?
Virtual therapy describes the process of interacting with a therapist online through Google or ZOOM (you must have a web camera for this). Your therapist will send you a link to connect.
Virtual therapy might be better for you if…
• you are comfortable using the Internet;
• you are reluctant or afraid, for one reason or another, to see a therapist in an office, or
• you live in a remote area where a therapist is not available, or
• you are prevented, for whatever reason, from getting to a therapists office.
Phone Counselling
Phone counselling sessions are also an option. Although distance counselling is not ideal (no body language or face to face connection), it can be a very effective way to continue sessions if you are unable to come into the office. Phone and virtual counselling sessions are charged the same as office sessions.
